We are huge fans of Halifax's weekly news publication, The Coast, so you won't be surprised to hear that I was incredibly flattered when I woke up this morning to see that I had been included on a lost of local Instagram accounts to follow for their annual back to school issue. In honour of this, I thought I'd share some images from the @seriouslyalexa archives and the rest of the article from The Coast.
As you can tell, my personal Instagram is a bit of a hodge podge. You can expect to see lots of animals, details of our loft and studio, my personal work including analog photos and illustrations, our favourite spots around the city and the adventures we go on, near and far. Although it's my name is in the @seriouslyalexa handle, I can't begin to count the number of times Luke has helped me set up a shot, held the phone for me or taken me to a breathtaking location only to wind up having me photograph the entire time. The account is really the product of both of our work and is a look into our shared day-to-day life.
I also share my absolute favourite images from our projects on my Instagram. It is a great way to reach a larger audience. After being made a suggested user by Instagram I've worked as an influencer through my Instagram account for some fantastic clients looking to increase their own social media presence.
To find more local Instagram accounts, be sure to read the entire article on The Coast here and show everyone some love.
